Terms & Conditions of Business
1. The owner of this web site is James Ellis Limited whose address is 6 Baptist Hill, St Mary Bourne, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 6BQ ( ‘James Ellis Limited’ / ‘we’ / ‘us’ / ‘our’ ). Company Registration number 06838865. 2. Your contract for purchases made through the site is with James Ellis Limited and you undertake that any and all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only. Please CLICK HERE for commercial or trade enquiries. 3. You must be over eighteen years old to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use the site in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent or guardian. 4. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. 5. No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and James Ellis Limited until James Ellis Limited dispatches the product(s) ordered. We will confirm that the product(s) have been dispatched by a confirmation email where possible. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by James Ellis Limited of your offer to buy goods from James Ellis Limited. 7. This confirmatory e-mail will contain all relevant statutory information concerning your contract. 8. The confirmatory e-mail will also contain a link to these terms and conditions, and may be amended from time to time. 9. You must check that the details on this confirmatory e-mail are correct as soon as possible and you should print out and keep a copy of it. 1. You have 7 days to request an exchange. (7 days after your package has been delivered - verified by tracking). 2. Exchanged products must be in NEW and RESALEABLE condition. All used items will be rejected. Any scratches or signs of use will void your exchange. All returns must be accompanied by an order number, all original packaging materials and paperwork. Please ship your box in appropriate packaging, pre-insured and tracked. 3. Customers are responsible for all shipping and insurance fees. We are not responsible for lost packages, you must consult any lost packages with your courier. 4. Customers may be charged shipping for an exchanged product. 5. Collect & Deliver shipments are available by request. Customer's credit card will be charged for the exchange and then the refunded once the returned item is received and verified. If any items are not in NEW condition, they will be returned and you will be billed for the returned item. 6. All returns must be accompanied by a Customer Returns Number. To request a Customer Returns Number, please CLICK HERE or call 01264 738 045. 7. All sales will be consider complete and fulfilled after 7 days of delivery. 1. You have 7 days to report a product that was received defective. If you see the packaging is defective upon receipt, please report the problem immediately CLICK HERE or call 01264 738 045. 2. If you received any defective items straight out of the box, we will make arrangements to have the merchandise picked up and a replacement sent to you immediately. 3. Defective items will be replaced with the same or comparable item. 4. This procedure may take another 5 - 7 working days - we would appreciate you patience in this matter. 5. All defective merchandise should be carefully repacked and readied for pickup by an authorised carrier. 6. There is no out of pocket expense from the customer. 7. You may however be required to drop your package off at a local Post Office. 8. All defective merchandise reported after 7 days of delivery date will be handled under the normal James Ellis Exchange Policy. 1. Free exchange shipping is not applicable for items return for refund. 2. You have 7 days to request refunds (7 days after your package has been delivered - verified by tracking). Please allow 5 - 7 working days for your credit to appear on your credit card. Please allow 2 weeks for any refund cheques to arrive. 3. Returned merchandise must be in new and resaleable condition. All sales will be considered complete and fulfilled after 7 days of delivery. 1. Credit and Debit cards are debited on the day of shipping by James Ellis Limited. All prices include sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. 2. Delivery charge will be added at time of checkout, the amount charge will vary depending on final delivery destination and weight. 3. James Ellis Limited aims to arrange shipment of all ‘in stock’ tems within 28 days of receiving your order, although in most case your order will be despatched sooner. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. 4. If you wish us to update you on delivery status please CLICK HERE. 1. All orders are automatically uploaded to our secure merchant processor (Paypal) which incurs fees. If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will be charges a 5% cancellation fee before credit is issued. 2. If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, the "Returns for refund policy" must be followed. 3. Orders which are refused at delivery will be charged all of the applicable fees listed above - including the return fee, our incurred shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee. 1. James Ellis Limited does not accept liability (except as set out above) for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. 2. If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price, if the item(s) has been charged and not dispatched we will cancel and refund your order. 3. James Ellis Limited will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them. 4. To the fullest extent permitted by law, James Ellis Limited is providing this site and its contents on an ‘as is’ basis and makes no (and expressly disclaims all) representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this site or the information, content, materials or products included in this site including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, James Ellis Limited does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current. 1. By submitting your photo(s) to the James Ellis Limited "Gallery" website you are hereby voluntarily and irrevocably granting to James Ellis Limited permission to use the photograph and to reproduce and publish the image, with or without any name, title in perpetuity for all purposes in all forms and media throughout the world. 2. You also agree that you will not inspect or approve versions of your image used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with your image. 1. Please be aware that due to manufacturing tolerances the Acrylic Blocks and PropBotts may vary in size. This tolerance is due to the dual polishing process, firstly diamond polishing followed by a high quality hand polishing process. 2. PropBotts are designed to be slightly shorter in height than the height of the related acrylic block by 5mm, this is to allow for the 3mm+- height tolerance in the acrylic blocks. This difference will not been noticed when the desired PropBot background is in place. The larger blocks have a maximum tolerance of 3mm +- on all dimensions, the smaller blocks 2mm+- and PropBott 1mm+-. |
